Providence's 450-acre city park, constructed in the 1880's and named after Rhode Island's rebellious founder, is a national historic district. It includes a zoo, botanical center and gardens, an event space known as the Casino, seven lakes, a replica Victorian carousel and miles of walking paths and green space. This first round of photos focuses mainly on the botanical center and gardens. |
