Sparkling mineral water comes from many countries. This one is Portuguese. The fizziness is much more subtle, usually, than in seltzer, which is often carbonated tap water. And there are a wide varieties of taste depending on the mineral content in each water.
Paying $2 per litre for water isn't so unreasonable when you consider that it has gas in it.
