Built in 1972-73, the original Royal Viking triplets were striking classic cruise ships. RVL was bought by Klosters in 1984, and in 1990 the fleet was broken up. RV Sea was transferred to Royal Cruise Line as their second Royal Odyssey; then back to NCL in 1996 as Norwegian Star. After bouncing around a bit more she has ended up sailing for Phoenix Reisen as Albatros.
