Doesn't have the same ring to it. Route 146 follows the old Providence-Worcester (that's "Woohstuh" or even "Wisstuh") Road. Somewhere in between
those cities, it makes a close run past my living room window.

Nope, Route 146 just doesn't have the right ring. This reminds me of an old Doors song, "Cars Hiss By My Window".
