The interestingly-named Explorer Starship was originally the Norwegian roll-on/roll-off ferry Begonia. She was rebuilt and delivered to Exploration Cruise Line in 1986 for ultra-deluxe expedition-style cruising. She later sailed as Song of Flower for Radisson Seven Seas, and since 2004 for Compagnie des Isles du Ponant as Le Diamant.
