Just a quick shot out the window while on a conference call. Tough life.
Yesterday we had a lashing rain, two or more inches. This morning part of Canada Pond unfroze
for the first time in over a month, and immediately the swan couple reappeared. How do they
know? And where do they go -- obviously not far -- when the pond is frozen over?
