I love the simplicity of the image, with that diagonal rail as a strong method of composition, and the subtle colors of the snow and melted ice. Beautiful simplicity. I also like the way you have chosen this pond as an ongoing, year-round project, and are developing a whole series of images that tell so many different things about one unique place in the world, and a place that photographers are not going to flock to in order to make still another image of a subject that's obviously photogenic, like Antelope Canyon or Monument Valley. T
