Your intrepid reporter was feeling very trepid, confronted with 18 inches of snow, 17 of which were blowing around on 20-degree wind gusts. I did get a few outdoor shots, but this shot from my window captures my entire journey -- about 40 feet. Round trip. Due to its chemical properties, snow is actually prettier when viewed from inside, at an ambient temperature of about 68 degrees.
