Oriental bittersweet

North Providence, RI

This vine has made it to the top of the tree. The woody vines can grow to three inches in diameter and slowly crush the life from the host tree.

We planted something called 'Russian Vine' to cover an old wall once.....we are still trying to get rid of it.
Nice greens against the blue sky.

So an oriental bittersweet is responsible for how I feel lately.....from the thumb I thought this was some sort of Thanksgiving "bird" parade float. As you know, I need glasses. Lots of them.
