Built in 1902 and standing 22 stories, the Fuller Building was one of the first skyscrapers. Later renamed the Flatiron Building, it's the only building in NYC with a district named after it. The wedge-shaped building occupies the southern end of the intersection of Broadway and 5th Ave. My grandfather worked in this building many years ago.
