My job is easy

North Providence, RI

At about, oh, 8:00 this morning I'd been sitting at my computer working for, oh, probably three hours, and I was starting to feel a little down on my job. Then these gentlemen showed up along with the paramedics to bring the usual person to the hospital for the usual reason. It was pouring, literally torrential. And I started to think, my job is pretty easy.

Being that it's now after midnight and I just finished working for the day, I've returned to my senses now. Easy is relative.

P.S., the 9/11 shield on the truck isn't just out of solidarity. Many of the fireman and trucks around here went down to help in the first days and weeks after the attacks. Yeah, my job is easy.

Very true. To some, me, getting up at 5:00am and working until midnight is not easy!

Easy is relative: wise words indeed.
