Mom and dad managed to outwit the swan through a complex series of manoeuvres that was impressive to watch. I found a new spot right by the water closer to where all the action is, so hopefully that will mean some better bird shots.

Cute family. Larry, I think those lily pads are actually pond crop circles. They do things different in RI.

Hmmmm, they look more on the swim to me! Anyway, you are filling my dreams with cuties .... I mean birdies. :°) yep they are quite intelligent, we have a few hundred living on the island during summer, and some are quite tame.

Cool shot, Jason. Whatever the lesson of the day from Mom and Pops, I'd have to say it fits the bills. Are those lily pads or an illusion?
