spring!

North Providence, RI

Every spring this swan pair returns, and the male spend his days chasing away Canada geese. Come late summer he'll happily share the pond with however many geese care to show up, but during breeding season the pond is his: no other swans or geese allowed.

Canada Pond should be for Canada Geese. Seems to me the Swan has it all wrong.

No matter how many shots you have of a swan taking off or landing. You will always fire away when you see the next one.

I thought them chasing Canadian Geese was a Michigan thing.

Nice shot, Jason. His head and neck remind me of the SST.
