Mourning dove at Ochre Court

Newport, RI

This little guy was sitting outside a concert at Ochre Point Mansion when it let out. He didn't seem unnerved by the 200 people heading for the parking lot, and he certainly wasn't too concerned about me. He didn't look hurt and seemed very healthy...he just didn't want to move. I can understand that.

Waiting for the encore? This really is a nice shot. That Nikon does a great job with high iso speeds!
