Everyone guessed remote, but only Phillip went the extra mile and identified it as an air conditioner remote. I never knew such a thing existed until the landlord replaced my broken air conditioner. I refuse to use it. I think if I'm too lazy to get up and push the buttons, I deserve to be too hot.
