Hi There,
I was just looking through your pictures of the Randolph 2003 show and noticed you have an error. Not a big deal, but I thought you might like to know. The picture on page three, labled P-51 and Col. Larry Lumpkin as the pilot was almost right. Larry is a new sponsor on the CAF mustang. The pilot show in the picture however is the legendary Gen. Reg Urschler. He has flow that airplane since the early 70's and has near if not over 3000 hr's in that aircraft alone. His military flight hours are in the thousands also as Reg flew for SAC over most of his career in the AF. Reg is one of the most senior and well respected mustang drivers in the world today and I'm glad you got to see him perform.

Excellent shots. I just did my first airshow today at Jones Beach with the same setup you have -- the Canon 10D and Sigma 50-500. What a great lense!

Hi Tim... Thanks for looking and for your comments! I'm not quite sure I'm agreeing with the F-14/F-15 naming discrepency you mentioned though. The three pics you mention (first three on page 9, correct?) are all the same plane. On the first of the three, you can make out most of the tail identification... "FF 008". On the pic immediately below it (second of the Heritage Flight pics) you can match up that same tail ID "FF 008" and you can see the top of the plane and see that it is a fixed-wing unlike the F-14... Also, the afterburners on the F-14 are spread a litte further apart with one under each tail fin and the F-15's are much closer to one-another... Compare the second and third shots with the F-14 on page 8 and you'll see what I'm talking about I think. I agree that it is kind of hard to tell from the angle of those three pics though!

Jason, Great shots. I really enjoyed looking through them. You have some shots with awesome composition. One correction though... the three shots immediately after the 50mm tail shot and immediately preceding the "heritage" photos are actually F14 Tomcats (not F15 Eagles).
