Thank you for your suggestion, Ali. Most of the photographs I take of the model railroad are posted on websites that are specifically for model railroaders. A good portion of these people are not on high speed internet connections but rather still on dial up connection. Thus I try to keep the images small enough for them to load faster. Also, most modelers want to see things as sharply as possible, front to back.. so I 'usually' try to accomplish this. So, it's a balancing act between making the photos the right size both for quicker viewing and large enough to see some detail. Every now and then I get a little more 'artsy' and use depth of field to be more creative. :) Jarrell

I love your work. Your pictures are excellent as they are. But I do have a suggestion. How about if you use large apertures to focus on one subject in your pictures and throw the background and foreground out of focus? I think this could make the pictures look more like real life. Also, I wish you would post larger size pictures of your model trains and the detailed environment you have created for them. I like looking at the details. Your work is like a pleasant dream. Keep up the good work. Ali.
