This is a wonderfully sharp image of a Gum Ball (Sweet Gum fruit). The subject's highlights aren't blown and the uniform black background is dramatic. You wouldn't care to share with me how you get this kind of shot (as well as your yellow raincoat). Obviously the proper use of flash is key (something I have had a hard time working with), but do you "photoshop" the background as well?
