What a fantastic time we had, Thankyou for everyone who made Joy & I welcome as 'Tour Virgins' the whole trip was a delight to be part of, good company.....driving.......food,wine and scenery as well as usual group humour even in the odd low moment .
The French ClanTT looked after route planning detail and hospitality was second to none. 39 cars proved very difficult to keep together and again ClanTT gathered strays.German SL crew provided Fire support......
I seem to have aquired "rear gunner " status due to my steady and thoughtful approach to life and subtle TT demeaner ,ever the shrinking violet quickly slipped into the role , maybe as suggested by Group Captain Blacker " its easy to see the back car now " . However their are odd advantages of being rear of the first three........
