Charity Dream Rides.............kindly hosted by the 'Jenny Wren' owners, Colin & Maria.........

''We had a total of 35 cars doing dream rides, the car owners were local and from Yorkshire and the Midlands.
The Lamborghini doing the most rides and using £175 worth of fuel during the day.
The AC Cobra drove all day in the wet with no top.
Cars ranged from Italian, German and British Supercars, Sportcars and Classics.
The Jenny Wren staff ran and supported the event perfectly, the public attend throughout the day for rides and enjoyed every minute of it, even though the weather was not perfect.
The Professional photographer D.A.Jacklin(Photographics) captured the event and of the faces of the passengers in their dream cars.
We raised £1000 for the dream rides and £525 for the raffle. Total raised donation an amazing £1525.00
The event was the first of its kind in the area and was a great success.
Another CHARITY Supercar & Classic Dream Ride event will be held in 2008 (bigger and hopefully better weather !) Courtesy of The Jenny Wren Inn.
Possibly over a full (Sat & Sun) weekend or even twice year as it was very popular and generated much interest.'' (Comments by Justin Kenyon event organiser)

UPDATE; Raffle drawn Tuesday 10th July at the 'Jenny Wren' prizes included, Helicopter trip, Glider flight,VIP Day watching British Superbikes at Cadwell Park, Champagne, Signed print of 'Eagre' , Voucher for garden centre (Silica Lodge), Gastro meal at the Jenny Wren,Car puzzles and many more..............
