I'm cataloguing an old collection of photographs and we have one taken from roughly the same spot (late 1930s). Can you identify where on the River Trent this is? Nice photos, etc. on your site, thanks for putting them up.
Mr Tudders, your comments obviously reflect your inteligence, so just to enlighten you, the image is from a photograph taken by my father in the early 1946..........Its a scan of a glass plate that has had colour touching post printing.
The copyright is added to stop cretins from stealing images, and particularly rare ones such as this.
