Takoyaki is a grilled liquid paste of wheat flour with boiled octopus. Takoyaki is cooked using a special pan with molds like little balls. Ingredients may include cheese or shrimp, scallops, in place of octopus and topped with okomomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise and katsuoboshi (fish shavings).
