Trees are, perhaps, the most congenial of all God's creations. The camera loves them, and I've discovered they're always willing to cooperate, no matter how many times I ask them to smile. Like each of us, every tree is unique. Clothed or naked, they pose, sprawling, gangly arms reaching high above hefty trunks to embrace the clouds. They never complain when a savage wind breaks boughs and limbs. They're accommodating to forest friends needing refuge. In the woods, as diverse as mankind, Maples, Oaks, Elms, Aspen and Pines, exist, are nourished, and thrive side by side, in peace. Trees whisper softly in a gentle breeze, and moan in unison when a westerly wind bends them nearly in half. Trees are magnificent, and resilient, and this photographer is in awe of their spirit.
