Odd Magnus retired racing Greyhound we adopted on January 13, 2008. He is a love and very people oriented. My 70 pound shadow is just over three years old. Slot Star (Maggie) was adopted on February 19, 2008. She is smaller about 50 pounds. Both dogs were in the Correctional Facility at the same time and were across the hall from each other. When we adopted them we did not know that and it was like a reunion for them. We adopted them through TLC Greyhound Adoptions in Hutchinson, Kansas. The dogs are taken from the track or kennels to an inmate training program at Hutchinson Correctional Facility. Each dog has an inmate handler that works with obedience and socializing the dogs.
