Thanks Martin, I appreciate your note. It's a beautiful view from up there, and it is great to go back and see where you grew up. The council are talking about stopping vehicles up Mt Eden soon. That's going to stop many people going up there - I don't think I could walk up it now!

I rode my bike over this hill with my brothers and friends, learnt to play tennis on the courts, attended the intermediate school and the teachers college, grew trees from the seedlings beneath the trees and bring my friends and family back to see this view again and again. You have captured it in its colourful glory. Kia Ora.
