The Norfolk Island Pine, while not a true pine,
really is an evergreen tree and it comes from Norfolk Island.

A really fine capture. Norfolk Pines were very popular in south Florida about 30 years ago ......
the problem was they grew so tall that they were always the first to go when we had a hurricane or tropical storm. Don't see many of them around here any more.

I never saw one of these, those branches are really spaced equally apart

I am eternally grateful our two yr old neighbour stood on ours and broke it ( 40 yrs ago ) we would have had to move the house before it did :)0

Isn't the pine also an evergreen? Our Ponderosa pines stay green all year. Nice shot! You live in a very nice spot.
