My Neck of the Woods

March Mix - 2013 - #1

This is the beach where our kids grew up - Waiake Beach at Torbay.
It is 5 kms north of where I live now
And see that dark brown house - shaped like a long curved box - on the cliff?
Well that is a house my husband built about 20 years ago, before he began to get sick
I see a lot of special memorials of Dave when I see the many houses he built - even the house I am living in now



This is the northern end of Waiake beach - always so picturesque

How nice that Dave left a mark. He made homes for people so they can share lives and memories too. And a beautiful beach indeed!
