Contrasting Hospital Shower Chairs

Contrasts Challenge

The news is not good - my husband Dave passed away last Sunday, Resurrection Sunday,
after 4 days warning that nothing else could be done for him...
Our daughter and I spent 4 nights sleeping at the hospital
and the boys and their families all came and spent the days with us.
Now Dave has no more pain or tears and I do believe he is in a MUCH better place

You know that you have prayers going up for comfort and strength. Life here is short and our hope is that we will see our loved ones again. I believe that. Glad to see you posting and all of us send hugs!

Our hope is always in what is clinged to in faith and the promise of a holy and perfect body with Him in eternity that is evident in the fulfilled promise of our risen King celebrated on that day that Dave left to go home. My heart and prayers are with you and your family as you certainly miss him here greatly but one day will rejoin him.

This poem has given me peace and hope it will give you the same...

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, 'Peace be Thine'.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

Bless your heart. I was sad to hear that Dave passed, but he IS in a better place. You will need time, but eventually when you think of him you'll find that you smile instead of cry. Let the good memories replace the bad ones from recent days. I'll pray for you.
