My World - Something I don't have much of - PATIENCE

At Home

My husband has been home from hospital 3 weeks now.
Yes, he is using his walker about 90-95% of the time, and there are times when he's managing very well
But I find I do not have much PATIENCE - especially when the walker hits the ground as well as my husband...

I can totally understand. My great-niece and I went to Florida to visit my parents (her great grandparents) a few years ago and we went to Disney. My father had an ankle injury and we used a wheel chair. It was during that trip that he earned the nickname "Mr. Cranky Pants"...only because that was acceptable for me to repeat in front of a 6-year-old!

Hopefuly, he won't fall anymore. That is so difficult and just know you aren't alone. Keep the faith!

Not easy.... I took forever to heal from a knee operation... found myself at back of stores unable to walk.. then used a shopping cart as a walker... after lots of swimming or treading water I have healed and can bend down and take pictures again.... it only took one year waiting for the operation and 3 years healing... it wasn't a knee replacement so maybe that is why it was so slow..
