My World - One of the things I own but never use

At Home

In 1984 I started buying pieces of this Royal Albert Bone China - "Old country Roses"
Over the next few years I added to my collection and my husband bought me the teapot one Christmas.
It now sits in a glassed cupboard in my kitchen, and to be honest, I have never used it, apart from taking photos of it, for over 15 years

I like the different processing you did Janice, it gives a different look on the cups and teapots, upgraded them

Never used it?
Such a shame ... what's holding you back?

I probably wouldn't use something that beautiful either and I would enjoy just looking at it. Super photo and love the film strip frame. V.

I love bone china tea cups/pots. Your set is beautiful and the retro style photos suit it well! V

It's very pretty and makes a great subject for photos. Funny, how we all seem to use mugs now and not the 'best china' when we have visitors.

It's beautiful. I think that I have 1 cup and saucer of this pattern. How about having a tea party for a few friends?

There's always a first time ~ so why don't you pull this out and use it for the holidays?
I always use my china for entertaining family and friends. :)

Lovely china and shots of it. You'll have to invite all your friends over for morning or afternoon tea, and go the whole hog.

Yes, i understand that: too beautiful and too precious to use.
Your presentation is perfect.

How very beautiful! I have a number of pieces of this pattern too, and I decided to use them everyday rather than storing them away, as I'd been doing. I love your composition. V
