My World - just what Mrs Sparrow and I had for lunch

In a purple world things are not what you expect.
Mrs Sparrow at the table next to me was having exactly what I had for lunch ...
'Date and orange scone', but I had a cappuccino 'half strength' instead of a cuppa tea.
And I ate all of my scone...
Mrs Sparrow was being a bit picky here!!

I miss sparrows, there are none where we live they are strictly forbidden and if they dare fly across the border they are sent back by very officious customs people who are employed primarily to vet feathered illegal immigrants. I wonder what they dreamed of being when they grew up.
