This is one of the most attractive and popular Agaves.
The species comes from central Mexico has very wide, unarmed, fleshy and soft, pale green to blue green leaves with a felty texture,
and forms a leaning or creeping trunk with age.
It is also known as “elephant’s trunk”, "lion's tail", "swan's neck", or "foxtail"
for its development of a curved stem when it flowers
