This Gallery is a Thank You to my friend Annie who gave me the courage and confidence to begin taking photos last September when I bought my Minolta Dimage Z3 Point & Shoot ~ but was overwhelmed by all it's settings ! She showed me how to take my first macro shot with it ~ and I was absolutely transfixed ! I soon wanted more control over my shots and bought a Panasonic Lumix FZ30 and began to use full man, or - that should really be - woman-ual control ! I was actually secretly hankering after a full Digital SLR by now, but everyone, myself included, was concerned about the very real possibility of dropping lenses whilst changing them in my wheelchair ! Annie has encouraged and supported me every inch along the way eversince and has taught me so much of how to "play" with my shots afterwards in Photoshop. Now I HAVE bought my first Digital SLR and have LENSES . . . !

Annie keeps saying that I should have a pbase Gallery, but I haven't ever felt "Ready". As a surprise Year On Thank You to her for a year of phantastic phriendship and so much laughter and phun - oh- and just a phew photos taken toooooo - I have Taken The Plunge as a way of saying ~ Thank You Annie ~ so here is my Gallery of a menagerie of shots from over this last year . . .
