Xu Bing is a Chinese artist whose work I had the pleasure of seeing a few weeks ago.
The Phoenix are two large sculptures made from the materials found at construction sites in China.
It took Bing two years create these monumental structures.
The Tobacco Project is a fake tiger skin made from 500,000 filtered cigarettes.
The colors of the stripes change depending upon which end of the tiger you are standing.
This will be a short gallery, adding a few images a day, with alternating photos of the Phoenix and the Tobacco Project.
