Ode To Hurricane Irene



We had an unwelcome visitor this past weekend, Irene. The main part of the storm passed west of us but we still had lots of damage here.
The worst of the storm was in the middle of the night but the rain and wind continued through most of Sunday. We lost power on Sunday morning and got the power back Wednesday afternoon.
We lost all the food in our refrigerator and had water in our basement but considering the damage else where we got off lightly.
