I don't know why this old plane was flying over NYC.
If you look at the photo in original you can see the plane better.
Maybe some of my old airplane friends can identify it.

If this is an old plane, WW II planes had 3 "invasion stripes" on them so that allies would know they are not the enemy. Maybe this plane is getting ready for Memorial Day activities.
