Maybe I Can Find Some Shoes in This Town

Speyer, Germany

Actually I have the very view Boris is talking about.
I plan to post that photo in my Rhine River Gallery tomorrow along with some history about this beautiful statue.
If Boris had read the description for my Pigeon Perches Gallery he would have read that this gallery is for fun.
As it states, an irrelevant look at pieces of art.

I for one always enjoy your witty titles- they really lighten the mood of viewing the art you are focusing on.

It is really an amazing looking statue and a beautiful photograph!
I really enjoy your humorous titles and still respect these great pieces of art as i know you and the others do as well.

Great timing to get the passerby matching the statue’s stride. V

certainly this modestly dressed character might appreciate shoes to spare his feet from pain..

This is the Jakobs Pilger Statue right in front of the Speyrer Dom, part of the Jakobs pilgrims way. If you had turned at 90 degrees you could have had the Dom in the background, instead of this ugly building. I don´t think the title is appropriate, like Helen thinks!

:-) Nice. I like how you composed, too.
