Some Lines and a Nose

We had kind of an emotional weekend.
We decided to sell our little condo in the Berkshires, Massachusetts.
We bought it over eleven years ago and did many improvements to make it our own.
Unfortunately many things have changed in that time.
The common fees have gotten outrageously high for what we get, the buildings are old and we can see some big repairs coming.
The good news is it sold it in two days and we got a lot more than we expected.
So many good memories there with our grandkids and the dogs.
I am grateful I have so many photos from there here.
It seems silly to say but one of the reasons we loved going there so much was because we so enjoyed watching how much Fenway, Della and Tug loved being there.
Our walks in the woods were always adventures, especially with Tug.
Things change in life and we will find new places to enjoy and make memories.
I was going to put up a photo of Della from the woods but then decided I liked this one better of her on our deck at the condo.
Funny how her colors match the wood.
Such a good girl, always keeps her eyes on me.

Great shot. Great caption, as always, and great story with a satisfactory ending.

You will indeed find new places to enjoy as it's you that brings the joy with you in your heart wherever you go. AND... you get to keep all those great memories as a bonus

It is sad that things don't go on forever. Cute shot of Della :)

A hard decision to make but it sounds like the right one, especially the way it worked out. Great choice of photo here; a strong composition and very engaging. Though Della's eyes are hidden I can feel her watching and can almost imagine her thoughts...

Wonderful shot. Sounds like you sold just in time. I am sure that other opportunities will avail themselves. "V"

a sweet shot, and poignant too in light of the changes forced upon you...perhaps the funds from the sale can be applied to new travel adventures..

Love the image Jane and you have great memories of the past that will always be with all of you.
The fees will always drive people away we sold our time shares several years ago for the same reason Maintenace fees always going up like getting another mortgage.
But as I said we have our memories and photos to remember.
You will be doing something just a nice wait and see.

What a sweet capture of Della surreptitiously keeping an eye on you. And sounds like it was a good idea to sell the condo when you did! V.
