When we left the Van Gogh Exhibit we walked through this area to find a place to eat.
As you can see there are not many people out enjoying the day.
Normally this area is crowed with people but it was so hot most people elected to dine indoors.
Battery Park City was created in 1980 as an extension of Lower Manhattan.
From here you can see Jersey City, the Freedom Tower, the Winter Garden and the Statue of Liberty.
