Where these is a will there is a way this photo show that . A smart idea when you do not have a electric dryer. Some folks like fresh air dried clothing even today. Reminds me some Mom used to open the window facing the back and there was a clothes line attached to a large wooden like telephone pole and she would hang the clothes out to dry this is back in the 1940s. Love your image made me think of how mom did it back then. Vote
