Unfortunately I didn't have my telephoto in when we went to the beach the other day.
Our local eagle was down there just hovering over the sea grasses.
By the time I got close enough to take a shot he was up, up and away.
Still a thrill to see him!

I think it turned out better without the long lens as you almost always see close up shots of eagles.. nice to see some sky and light behind
