Vinyl is coming back with the millennials. Listening to some of them, the fidelity seems better quality than CDs. Vote.

A great find and nice shot, Jane. I still love the records and turntable still got mine! V

A rare find. I thought it must be a store in Memory Lane.

Like globalgadabout I gave most of my collection to Value Village :( AND my sons gave me a record player for my birthday so I can listen to the favourites I saved. Nicely composed shot ! V

vinyl has always sounded richer than CDs, superior as long as there were no scratches to add a bit of crackle...alas sold most of mine about 5 years ago, except of course 30 or so albums that were just too significant to part with...digital music seems too compressed and tinny...good impact in your image, and the sign indicates a technology that dates back like the buildings..

So neat to see one still surviving.

Cool sign.. well shot. With CDs on the way out, records have picked up some again, but digital downloads still reign the roost these days

Cool shot, and you're right. One of my favorites used to be 3rd Street Rock and Jazz in Philadelphia.

Cool sign. As Colin said, vinyl is making a come back this side of the Atlantic - we've even got a record shop in our town,

I has been years since we had a record store...

Great sign, vinyl is making somewhat of a resurgence here.

They are making a comeback over here, records are becoming very popular.

Much better than an itunes store!

Lovely old buildings in the background. Despite selling records it seems discordantly modern.

Don't know about CDs but a big market for vinyl around here.

Interesting to see the old buildings behind the sign.

It's a pity, but younger people don"t buy CD's.
