Discovery

I wondered after I worked on this photo for a while if anyone took a photo of me while I was running my fingers
across the name of an classmate of mine who lost his life in Vietnam.
A very moving experience to visit The Wall. I was glad I was wearing sunglasses as I had tears in my eyes as I
walked away.

Very nicely composed to catch the Washington Monument in the BG. Nice reflections in the wall as well.

The emotion wrought by the wall seems to be strong since it was built. Maya Lin did her job well.
