Straight Lines In Stairs

Staircase at Bascom Lodge on the top of Mount Greylock in western Massachusetts. The lodge was built in 1934 as part of a CCC "volunteer" project. All the original materials came from the mountain (stone for the walls, lumber for the frame, interiors, and roof, etc.). This is a really beautiful spot with amazing vistas - you can see 5 states from here (Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Vermont and a little bit of New Hampshire).

Yes the lines are there but the light is flattering and the image detail is splendid. Excellent photograph executed in artistic fashion. Vote 10+
