Twenty Six Inches
The sun is out
Mom and Dad are home
We have twenty six inches of snow in our backyard
Life is Awesome!!!
It's Official
It's official, the storm has arrived!
Mom came home early from work and
took us out to romp around.
We had a blast.
The snow even made my leg feel better.
Della and I are keeping our paws crossed
that we don't lose power again.
Another Storm
We heard another storm is coming.
This time with snow!
Fenway is worried about the deep snow because
his leg has been bothering him.
Dad is upset because we were suppose to go up
north this weekend.
Mom is worried we will lose power again.
And me, I'm totally psyched!!!!!
A Little Snow
We finally got some snow at our house!
Mom took us out for a romp in the yard after work.
I blasted all over the place.
All Fenway did was roll on his back and make grunting noises.
Snow Memories
Our friend Baldr is so lucky.
He has snow up where he lives.
We heard he was in the snowy woods and even discovered Coyote pee!
We used to have so much fun in the snow
but it never snows here anymore.
Fenway says he doesn't like global warming.
The Cookie Mystery
I had to smile when I saw the photo of you
blazing a trail in that gigantic field.
Awesome work!
Don't worry about the man eating your cookies.
He was probably just leaving a trail of treats
so you could find your way back home.
You know, like Hansel and Gretel.

A True Friend
We had so many visitors to our house this Christmas.
It's been fun, however, we have been waiting for one
special person to arrive.
Our friend Marisol was supposed to come home for Christmas.
Yesterday when the mail came we heard Mom say her name.
We ran to the window.
She wasn't there.
Mom showed us a package all the way from Montana.
It was from Marisol!
If she couldn't be here, she sent the next best thing.
YUMMY COOKIES!!!!!!
They sure were tasty.
The Elf
I heard Christmas is coming again.
Something about elves making toys?
I have never seen an elf.
Mom says they live up North.
My friend Baldr lives up North.
I wonder if he has seen an elf.
Searching For Bones
It has been three months since my big ACL surgery.
Mom is finally letting me run a little.
I have to keep my leash on though and
she always says, "Don't go crazy!"
She didn't look too happy when I jumped over the log.
I was just trying to be good and come when I was called.
Della was hiding behind a tree probably eating something nasty.
Can you see her?
Wait a minute, maybe she found a bone like Baldr!
Watching
We heard about you finding your way through the
woods to the home of your friends.
Della is very hopeful you will find your way to our house.
She is keeping a sharp eye out for you.
I told her, "Forget it. He'll be grounded for a long time!"
The Lesson
I'm learning how to write!!!
Mom said we should start with my name.
The hardest part is not stepping on the letters.
The Big Storm
I keep hearing about a big storm coming this way.
They say its name is Sandy.
I thought Sandy was like at the beach.
I can hear the wind blowing and Mom and Dad are
making sure everything in the backyard is tied down.
I hope they don't tie my ball down.
