Bob and I made our annual summer trip to Santa Cruz, California for the Dickens Universe at UCSC. We arrived at SJC on July 20, a week early for the Universe. We stayed with Cliff and Dixie in Santa Cruz most of the time. We traveled to Mill Valley by way of San Francisco to see Adrienne and Judah, and made a day trip to Point Reyes from Mill Valley. The Dickens Universe started on July 30, and we participated in most of the activities until we had to leave on August 4, a day early, in order to get back in time to greet family members who would arrive on August 7. It was a great trip.
