Two Weeks in Alaska

In June 2013 Bob and I spent two and a half weeks in Alaska. The trip we signed on for was a Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel) adventure. We spent part of the time with the group at Denali and Moose Pass, and part of the time in our rented Jeep. We were overawed by the majestic Alaska scenery, and had many exciting adventures in Anchorage, Denali, Moose Pass, Seward and Homer. It was a great trip, and we can't wait to go back.

These are wonderful. I am so glad you shared them. I need to get mine organized and posted. We have had a mix of grandchildren with us ever since we returned from Alaska. I took two of them down to the Conowingo Dam area this week to see eagles. We saw some eagles but we also saw more blue herons than I have ever seen any where and a large flock of black vultures that seemed to be involved in some sort of courtship activity?
