this has to be my fave of the lot - I did think these were sand dunes :)
Great nuances and texture, makes me think of the "terres aux sept couleurs" in Mauritius island. Is it right?
Intriguing shot and you've got us all guessing. It might be an old faded picnic rug or blanket that has collected some dust and debris over time. But whatever, your "Gobi desert" is a wonderful world of surprises in colour, light and fine detail.
VEry nice, I like the peaceful solitude of the shot! -BJ

Very nice color
This is a very interesting shot. Very nice textures, colors, and light. It does ask us the question of scale...and it has much mystery to it. Very nice.
I like it too, especially becasue the scale is hard to discern. I half expect to see a little 1/4 inch tall person walking through here somewhere.
Don't know what this is but is one of the most intersting abstract images I have seen in long time. (My guess is weather eroded rocks... coverd in leather)
