Actually, I don't think this is blasphemy at all. When my wife saw the composition, she was shocked as well. I wonder why. Those of us who have read the gospel attentively will surely know that the ideas of this carpenter's son where much much closer to those of Karl Marx, and miles away of the nonsense our popes are uttering. This cross stands near a small church at Watou, the tiniest of villages at the border of Belgium and France. Every summer they organise a Poetry Festival. Jan
