Nagoya - Mostly the Castle

Our early morning flight from Singapore departed around 1am (GMT+8) and arrived in Japan at 8am (GMT+9). Nagoya was an impressive sight to behold (this was at the old airport).

We were pretty tired after the flight so the first place my brother-in-law took us was to the Blue Bear Cafe for a strong coffee, that place had some very pretty waitresses (sorry I didn't take photos).

After the Coffee we went to see Nagoya-jo (Castle), it is a concrete reconstruction and the inside (no photos allowed in there) is very modern looking and contains a samurai museum. Having viewed the castle we sat down in the grounds for some Kishimen (like Ramen but with flat noodles a Nagoya specialty).
